So You Want to Know About Cells... This sight will help inform those who find themselves asking many thought provoking questions that may concern the topics of cells, organelles, bacteria and many other things.
![]() To the left you see an example of a plant cell and to the right you see an example of an animal cell. As you can see, both of the cells have many components that help make the cell entirely complete. These components are known as organelles. There are 12 main organelles that I will teach you about on the next page of this website. | First of all... CELLS!Let me tell you a little bit about cells. Cells are the basic building blocks of life and are found everywhere you go. There are many types of cells but two are the animal cell and the plant cell. These two cells help put together many of the living things that you see today. There are many similarities and differences between these two types of cells. First of all, animal cells are shaped in a circular form and have one or more small vacuole. There are no chloroplast and they have a cell membrane but lack a cell wall. Plant cells have a more rectangular shape and have one large cacuole. They have both a cell wall and a cell membrane.
